WHAT IT IS?
Calendula Officinalis (pot marigold) is one of nature’s oldest wound healing herbs known. The flower petals of the Calendula plant are used for medicinal purposes and have since at least the 12th Century. Calendula is one of the most effective medicinal plants for the natural health of the skin, containing Its high content of valuable nutrients such as carotenoids, flavonoids and saponins, plant based antioxidants that protect cells from being damaged by free radicals, so excellent for wound healing. Calendula appears to fight inflammation, viruses, and bacteria.

WHAT IT DOES?
Calendula contains antimicrobial and skin repairing compounds.
It helps wounds heal faster by increasing blood flow and oxygen to the affected area, helping the body to grow new tissue.
Calendula helps prevent dermatitis or skin inflammation in breast cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy.

HOW TO USE IT?
Apply topically to clean affected area up to three times daily or as needed.
Shake bottle before use.
WHEN NOT TO USE IT?
Do not use on very deep cuts since Calendula will form granulation on the surface before the actual underlying tissue has rebuilt.
STORAGE?
Keep out of direct sun.
Store Calendula Cream at room temperature between 20C to 25C (68F to 77F).
